In September of 2005, New York Salamina Soccer Club announced the foundation of our Youth Soccer Division. The training program for boys and girls includes lessons on fitness, conditioning, stamina, coordination, tactical and technical drills for a complete Soccer Learning Experience.
We're currently forming boys and girls teams between the ages of 5-18 to compete in intramural and advanced competition in the near future.
Our goal is to exceed over 100 youth soccer players from the Astoria and neaby Queens and Manhattan vicinity that are decidated and determined to succeed in the Sport of Soccer.
The success of our Adult Men's Team in all levels of competition is well known in New York.
New York Salamina has one of the top Semi-Professional Teams in the New York Tri-State Area in Indoor and Outdoor Soccer. We have won two successive Championships in the prestigious Northeastern Super Soccer League in 2004-2005 and in 2005-2006.
It will take word work, dedication, patience from our coaching staff, our parents and players to have similar success in the Youth Division in the future.
